Pastor Pattie e. Gordon
Current Pastor
Pastor Pattie Elaine Gordon is a native of Walterboro, South Carolina. She is the third of seven children, being the youngest girl. Reverend Gordon was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Michael on February 17, 2007. She is a loving mother of Denzel and Brandon and from the blended family, Santana & Tysheona. She has two grandsons, LaDarius and Nicholas. She is an ordained Itinerant Elder in The South Carolina Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church and her home Church is Springtown UMC in Smoaks, SC.
In June 2018, Pastor Gordon was appointed to The Johns Island Parish (Bethlehem St James and New Webster United Methodist Churches) in the Charleston District on Johns and Wadmalaw Islands.
Since being appointed to the Johns Island Parish, Pastor Gordon initiated community events. Those include BOOT camp, JIP New Webster Food Pantry, Tailgate for Sonya, and JIP Sneaker Gala. She has established connections with other denominations. Church of Our Saving and New Bethlehem Baptist Church. In addition, community organizations, such as Sea Island Hunger Awareness Foundations and Kiawah-Seabrook Exchange Club.
